Project Coordinator

Job Description

Requirements:

  • Electrical Engineering Degree.
  • At least 10 years of experience in the Oil and Gas industry.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., ERP tools) and strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Preference will be given to those who have:

  • Local Visa transferable
  • Qatar Experience
  • Valid Qatar Driving License

Job Description:

  • Assist in the development and maintenance of project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Coordinate project activities, ensuring all tasks are completed according to the project plan.
  • Monitor project timelines, track progress, and report any deviations to the Project Manager.
  • Serve as a point of contact for project stakeholders, including clients, vendors, contractors, and internal teams.
  • Organize and participate in project meetings, preparing agendas, taking minutes, and following up on action items.
  • Prepare and distribute project status reports, updates, and other communications.
  • Maintain and manage all project documentation, including contracts, permits, engineering drawings, and reports.
  • Ensure that project documents are properly filed, stored, and accessible to team members as needed.
  • Track and manage project correspondence, ensuring timely responses and resolutions.
  • Coordinate the procurement of materials, equipment, and services required for the project.
  • Assist in the management of project resources, including personnel, equipment, and supplies.
  • Monitor and track the delivery and use of resources, ensuring they are used efficiently and effectively.
  • Support the Project Manager in ensuring that health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards are adhered to.
  • Assist in tracking project expenses, ensuring that costs are within the approved budget.
  • Being proficient in dedicated software for MEP construction and MS Office tools as well as in ERP tools.
  • Primarily office-based with regular visits to project sites, which may include remote locations.
  • Flexibility to work extended hours and weekends as required to meet project deadlines.
  • Must be willing to travel extensively and work in challenging environments.
